BAJADA DE BAÑOS
Since it was founded, the city of Lima had a strong connection with the sea, and as the city expanded, high-class inhabitants founded the village of Chorrillos during the 18th century. But after the destruction caused by the war of 1880 and the big earthquake of 1940, the village lost its charm and thanks to the railroad building in 1870, Barranco village became one of the city’s coolest neighbourhoods, especially during 1940-1960.
Barranco has a different mood than Lima Center, there are no big offices, but houses, art galleries, art studios, and restaurants. Its day life starts around 10 am when shops open, so we may start our 3 hours photo walk as early as 7 am to have the freedom to shoot with few people around or in the afternoon around 3 pm when people arrive to enjoy the neighbour and the bay view, even when is hazy.
what kind of photos we may take?
Architecture, city streets, people, landscape, long exposition, and/or local activities.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO BRING?
Basically in summer (Jan-Apr) you must use sunscreen and fresh clothes. Lima temperatures are on average 24-32C.
During winter (Jul-Oct) long sleeves and a wind vest for temperatures of 12-16C. Usually, it doesn´t rain too much (except in Aug-Sep) but bringing an extra coat for rain or cold may be helpful.
This is a photo trip in street areas, we will walk slowly, trying to find interesting things for shooting.
