Fog oases are common along the Peruvian coast and Atacama, a unique planet ecosystem created by the action of the wind, humidity and temperature of the sea in winter.
Lima City is losing every year lot of these lands because of the absence of nature categorization and/or the absence of legal actions. This place is one of the nearest few survivors and has easy access.
The most important thing is that this environment only exists from mid-July to mid-October in a regular year.
If you are a nature lover this is a must be placed on your bucket list. So get ready to shoot birds, insects, flowers, and landscapes.
WHAT KIND OF PHOTOS WE DO?
Architecture, city streets, landscapes, birds and people.
WHEN TO GO?
From mid-July to mid-October.
SUGGESTED ITINERARY:
Leave the hotel at 9 am. Arriving at Pachacamac at 10.
Hike and shoot for around three hours.
Drive back to Lima arriving around 2 pm.
We may arrange the trip to go in the afternoon around 1:30 pm
WHAT TO TAKE?
Basically in summer (Feb-mar) must use sunscreen and fresh clothes with higher temperatures of 30C, during winter (aug-sep) a wind vest for temperatures of 13-15C.
LEVELS:
You may be a beginner or an expert. In case you want to learn we are able to teach you, showing tips about composition, light, and camera settings.
HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE?
From/to Lima around 7 hours.
EXTENSIONS: This trip could be longer or tailored, in case you think the time is not enough to explore the streets or add other places such as Villa Wetlands or Pachacamac Museum.

PHOTOGRAPHERS TIPS:
– Winter has low light conditions, so bringing a tripod and use of luminous lenses may be a smart choice.
– Macro, wide angle and tele are good weapons for this tour.

After pre-booking by the web form, or contact us by WhatsApp, chat or email, please send a list with names, passport numbers, tour date, meeting point and any request you think could be important, such as the kind of things you want to photograph, personal style, personal website, mobility issues, etc.
Remember we work only with small groups and private services.
Important:
Save the date with 90 USD. This advanced payment is not refundable if no show or by any cancellation reason and the remaining balance will be due before or at the time of the scheduled tour.
At crowdy places, for personal safety reasons is recommended to have a good backpack and never leave your stuff apart from you.
We allow any kind of camera.
The use of sport or very comfortable shoes is fully recommended.
Not included meals, drinks, personal expenses, travel/accident insurance, or lodging, unless we agreed to include them.
Additionals:
Trips outside Lima City include transportation. For trips in the city fully private transportation support is available under request and extra cost.
Other timing or arrangements for mobility handicaps or extra assistant under request and extra cost.
Photography lessons and special requests available (ask).
Conditions:
1. For better chances to find an open date, requests and bookings must be done at least 72 hours before the tour date.
2. If cancellation occurs is considered as No Show and booking advanced payment is not subject to refund.
