Since Lima was founded the world trade started and continued at Callao Port, the place where the immigrants arrived and lived until the first years of the republic. The earthquake and tsunami of 1746 erased Callao and Lima lost 80% of their colonial buildings.
After many years Lima city needed to get expanded, so, high-class inhabitants moved during the beginning of the 20th century to the new villages of Magdalena, Miraflores, Barranco, and Chorrillos, places that became not as far as years before thanks to the new roads, cars and trolley railroads, leaving their former homes. Then they follow the midclass letting the main city as a business and government place.

WHEN TO GO?
The trip can be done for the whole year. Best from December to April.
SUGGESTED ITINERARY:
Leave the hotel at 9 am. Arriving to La Punta Callao at 10.
Shooting of beach, birds, and boats, until 12m. A brief stop for some food.
We leave Callao and we will drive along the Costa Verde beaches. A brief stop at one of the Surf Points.
Then we move to Barranco, photo walk at streets. Stop for some food.
Around 4-5 pm, we will be moving to Miraflores to Puente Villena and walking to find some spot to shoot the cliffs, people or sunset at the end of the day (usually from May to November is 99% possible not to have a sunset).
WHAT TO TAKE?
Basically in summer (Feb-mar) must use sunscreen and fresh clothes with higher temperatures of 30C, during winter (aug-sep) a wind vest for temperatures of 13-15C.

You may be a beginner or an expert. In case you want to learn we can teach you, showing tips about composition, light, and camera settings.
HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE?
We take the whole day and we use private transportation.
EXTENSIONS: This trip could be longer or tailored, in case you think the time is not enough to explore the streets or add other places, we suggest two options.
1. Instead of La Punta we may take a boat ride to Palomino Islands (additional cost and subject to availability).
2. Include Palomino Islands and La Punta but must start earlier.

– We suggest starting earlier leaving the hotel around 7 am so we can take the day more relaxed, stopping more.

Remember we work only with small groups and private services.
Important:
Save the date with 90 USD. This advanced payment is not refundable if no show or by any cancellation reason and the remaining balance will be due before or at the time of the scheduled tour.
At crowdy places, for personal safety reasons is recommended to have a good backpack and never leave your stuff apart from you.
We allow any kind of camera.
The use of sport or very comfortable shoes is fully recommended.
Not included meals, drinks, personal expenses, travel/accident insurance, or lodging, unless we agreed to include them.
Additionals:
Trips outside Lima City include transportation. For trips in the city fully private transportation support is available under request and extra cost.
Other timing or arrangements for mobility handicaps or extra assistant under request and extra cost.

Conditions:
1. For better chances to find an open date, requests and bookings must be done at least 72 hours before the tour date.
