Pacha Trails

WHAT WILL WE FIND ?
The Pachacamac photo trip covers the lower lands of Lurin River, south from Lima city. The trip takes us by some hiking/biking trails to explore amazing landscapes and hills that only in months of august-september become green because of the drizzle and low temperature, the rest of the year they may be totally dry.
If hiking too much does not fits you, we may travel by car on the most part of the trip, stopping in some places for some photography and using some very flat short trails.

WHAT KIND OF PHOTOS WE DO?
Landscapes and in winter more birds and flowers.

WHEN TO GO?
The trip can be done the whole year, as a half day trip or full day.
From July to October it may be wet or very muddy, but is the time with more wild life, rest of the year is dry.

WHAT TO TAKE?
Trekking poles is a good idea if you like to hike and in winter time helps to keep the balance on some slippery places.
Basically in summer (feb-mar) must use sunscreen and fresh clothes with higher temperatures of 30C, during winter (aug-sep) trekking shoes, long sleeves and a windvest or light raincoat for temperatures of 13C.
Food, just some snacks and water.

HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE?
A hike in the area may take 3 to 4 hours, moving slow, stopping for photos.
Best hours are very early or late. So leaving the city at 6am or 2pm are good choices in summer, and in winter 9am or 1pm are good choices too.
Add 3 to 4 hours of total transportation to complete 7-8 hours.

OPTIONS: If requested we may add (extra cost) visits to Pachacamac Ruins and Museum, Villa Wetlands, lunch at Pachacamac district, other areas of the valley.

Duration: 4 hours on destination plus 3 hours of transportation.
