06:00 – Hotel Pick-up We set out early to make the most of the light. We’ll drive east toward Cieneguilla, in the Lurín River Valley. Crossing the city, we’ll finally reach the quiet road leading into the Andes.

07:30 – Cieneguilla On the way, we’ll stop in Cieneguilla for fresh bread or any supplies you might need for the day.

09:30 – Antioquia (1,500 m) We’ll arrive in Antioquia, a town famous for its art-painted streets. This is our first main stop, where you can enjoy its colourful facades and playful details. Nearby in Cocachacra, we’ll pause briefly to capture landscapes along the local Inca Trail.

12:00 – Langui Town (2,800 m) The road continues to climb toward Langui. This rustic town offers authentic local life — perfect for candid shots — before we continue to the high pass at 3,600 m.

15:00 – Scenic Stops en Route to Olleros (2,800 m) Along the way, we’ll pause at several viewpoints to photograph dramatic mountain landscapes before reaching the village of Olleros. From here, we’ll begin descending toward the coast, with more opportunities for landscape shots.

18:00 – Viewpoint Scenic Stop Our final stop is a magical viewpoint where you can capture the “sea of clouds” rolling over the Andes. This spectacle is especially photogenic from June to September. We’ll stay until the sun sets behind the clouds.

20:00 – Return to Lima We’ll arrive at the coastline near Punta Hermosa, where we may stop for dinner. Afterwards, we’ll continue back to Lima.

22:00 – Back at Hotel Arrival in Lima, with memory cards full of mountain vistas, village life, and colorful streets.

Note: All times are approximate and may vary depending on traffic, weather, and group pace.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This is a photo trip through natural and rural areas, where we will hike at certain points at nearly 10,000 ft. If you have mobility limitations, blood pressure concerns, or any heart condition, please let us know so we can adjust the plan accordingly.
It is strongly recommended to keep in mind that services of any kind are almost nonexistent in these regions, including internet access. We provide some food during the trip, but main meals depend on what local communities can offer. Expect no fancy restaurants — only very basic services along the way.
