The Andes of Lima are completely different from the central or southern Andes. Can be visited during the dry season which starts in May and ends in November. Rains are from January to March.
Starting at sea level we will reach close to 10,000 ft elevation, passing by the lower lands of the valley surrounded by dry mountains, in a continuous climb by gravel roads to finally reach the Andean rural lifestyle.
