PUCUSANA BIRDS and boats

Embark on a photo tour to Pucusana, a renowned fishing bay south of Lima. We’ll set out on a boat ride across its waters, where you can capture striking images of sea birds, sea lions, and —if fortune smiles— the Humboldt penguins. Along the way, you’ll observe local fishermen at work, immersed in daily routines that reveal the community’s deep bond with the sea.
Once back in the city, we complete the trip with a stop at El Morro hill for a wide view of the city and Pescadores Port in Chorrillos.

a great DAY following the connection between the sea and the people that supplied the peruvian seafood.

Pucusana Bay birds and boats Day Trip

08:30 Pick-up in Lima We begin our adventure with a drive south along the Panamerican Highway toward the fishing town of Pucusana.

10:30 Boat Ride in Pucusana Upon arrival, we’ll board a local boat for a guided ride through the bay. This is the perfect opportunity to photograph colorful fishing boats, fishermen at work, and the rich wildlife of the area — including seabirds, sea lions, and even Humboldt penguins. After returning to the port, we’ll enjoy a short walk along the bay to soak in the atmosphere before heading back toward Lima.

13:00 Lunch Stop in Punta Hermosa On our way back, we suggest stopping in Punta Hermosa, a lively beach town, for lunch (meals not included). It’s a great chance to taste fresh seafood or Peruvian coastal specialties.

14:00 Coastal Highlights in Lima Back in Lima, we’ll finish the trip exploring with a visit to El Morro, a viewpoint offering sweeping landscapes of the city and the bay. We’ll may also stop at Pescadores Port in Chorrillos, where you can see the local fish market.

16:00 End of Trip Return to your hotel in Lima.
