Since it was founding, Lima has maintained a strong bond with the sea. As the city grew, wealthiest families established at the village of Chorrillos but after the war of 1881 and the big earthquake of 1940 the village declined, becoming Barranco one of the city’s most attractive neighbourhoods, particularly in the first half of 20th century.
This photo walk connects the near area of Miraflores Larcomar with Barranco Bridge of Sighs mixing the views of the coastline, street art, art galleries and the mood of these districts.

If you have already visited the main Centre of Lima, and want to visit some other spots of the city, this is the best choice.
Since the foundation in 1535 some small villages and farms became into districts. Oldest ones are those facing the ocean, so for this trip we will visit some of them: El Morro at the south side of the bay with the view of the city, Barranco the most classy neighborhood in the 19-20th century, Miraflores since 1950 became the best modern place, La Punta in the northern extreme side of the bay and the market of Magdalena, one of the oldest districts of Lima.

This is a photo walk THAT WILL TAKE YOU to explore ONE OF niceST placeS in Lima city And FOR FOODIES IS fully recommended THERE to try some coffee, dessert, ice cream OR MAYBE A CEvICHE.
