PACHA VALLEY
Lima is a big city and in time two of its valleys were eaten by the need of housing.
Last valley is the Lurin River, and as is separated from the city by mountains it is still here alive, giving us the chance to visit and enjoy fresh air and quietness as long as we go and see small villages, people, wildlife, plants and nice landscapes.
As every valley in the coast is rocky at both sides but inside is green and fertile, and subjet to our seasons in summer is hot at noon so we recommend to visit it early morning or late afternoon. Winter has a mild weather so any hour is perfect to go.
If you are active, a nature lover and a photo explorer this is the best choice at Lima outdoors. Get ready to shoot birds, insects, flowers, and landscapes!

This is a 4-5 hours photo ADVENTURE. Even if you are a pro or an enthusiast photographer, THE GOAL HERE IS TO GET IN TOUCH WITH LOCAL DAILY LIFE AND NATURE. TO PROFIT THE PLACE BEST HOURS ARE EARLY IN THE MORNING OR LATE IN THE AFTERNOON. a PLUS IN THE AREA IS THE GREAT OFFER OF LOCAL FOOD.
SUGGESTED ITINERARY
6:30 Leave the hotel.
8:00 Arriving to Pachacamac Valley.
8:30 A first stop at Tambo Inga ruins, we continue by the valley to reach Malpaso village.
9:30 A mall view of the town and hike along the stream that supply water to these lands with the view of the valley.
10:30 We arrive to Cardal pre inca site and continue for some more minutes hiking.
If is winter season and is green we may extend the hike to the fog oases area.
11:30 Pick up to go to Pachacamac town.
12m A loop at the town, the small local market and start the return to Lima city.
If you want to spend more time to profit the day it can be linked with Pucusana bay or a visit to the Pachacamac Inca Temple and Museum (ask for prices)

A wide angle for landscapes (under 24 mm).
A tele if you want to shoot birds or some action (200 mm +).
A macro if you like to shoot flowers, textures and any kind of details.
A zoom 24-70 / 24-105 / 35-150 mm good for multi use.

The trip can be done the whole year, during the months of July to September asa average the moisture and rain change this dry land to a greener one.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO BRING?
Trekking shoes are recommended.
In summer (jan-mar) temperature is a bit hot and humid: fresh clothes, a hat, water and sunscreen.
During the winter season (Jul-Oct), long sleeves and a wind vest for temperatures of 12-16C. Usually, it doesn´t rain too much (except in Aug-Sep) but bringing an extra coat for rain or cold may be helpful. If rains maybe the ground will be muddy and a bit slippery.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This is a photo trip in natural areas, we will hike in some moments climbing up a bit. In case you are not able to walk too much please tell us to modify the original plan.

Booking procedure:
After pre-booking by the web form, or contact us by WhatsApp, chat or email, please send a list with names, passport numbers, tour date, meeting point and any request you think could be important, such as the kind of things you want to photograph, personal style, personal website, mobility issues, etc.
Remember we work only with small groups and private services.
Important:
Save the date with 90 USD. This advanced payment is not refundable if no show or by any cancellation reason and the remaining balance will be due before or at the time of the scheduled tour.
At crowded places, for personal safety reasons is recommended to have a good backpack and never leave your stuff apart from you.
We allow any kind of camera.
The use of sport or very comfortable shoes is fully recommended.
Not included meals, drinks, personal expenses, travel/accident insurance, or lodging, unless we agreed to include them.
Additionals:
Trips outside Lima City include transportation. For trips in the city fully private transportation support is available under request and extra cost.
Other timing or arrangements for mobility handicaps or an assistant under request and extra cost.
Photography lessons and special requests available (ask).
Conditions:
1. For better chances to find an open date, requests and bookings must be done at least 72 hours before the tour date.
2. If cancellation occurs is considered as No Show and booking advanced payment is not subject to refund.
