PACHA VALLEY
Lima is a big city and in time two of its valleys were eaten by the need of housing.
Last valley is the Lurin River, and as is separated from the city by mountains it is still here alive, giving us the chance to visit and enjoy fresh air and quietness as long as we go and see small villages, people, wildlife, plants and nice landscapes.
As every valley in the coast is rocky at both sides but inside is green and fertile, and subjet to our seasons in summer is hot at noon so we recommend to visit it early morning or late afternoon. Winter has a mild weather so any hour is perfect to go.
If you are active, a nature lover and a photo explorer this is the best choice at Lima outdoors. Get ready to shoot birds, insects, flowers, and landscapes!

This is a 4 hours photo ADVENTURE. Even if you are a pro or an enthusiast photographer, THE GOAL HERE IS TO GET IN TOUCH WITH LOCAL DAILY LIFE AND NATURE. TO PROFIT THE PLACE BEST HOURS ARE EARLY IN THE MORNING OR LATE IN THE AFTERNOON. a PLUS IN THE AREA IS THE GREAT OFFER OF LOCAL FOOD.
SUGGESTED ITINERARY
During Summer is recommended to go very early (6:30 am) or in the afternoon (2:00 pm) for a better relaxed hike. Rest of the year could start at any hour.
Leave the hotel.
Arriving to Pachacamac Valley.
We start at the valley to have a closer view of the place, then, we move to Cardal Pre Inca site to continue along the stream that supplies water to these lands with the view of the valley.
Finally we arrive to Malpaso village to get picked up to go to Pachacamac town and return to Lima city.
If you want to visit to the Pachacamac Inca Temple and Museum, ask for extra cost and timing.

Landscapes and some birds, insects and flowers, people, and/or local activities.
what lenses are best for this trip?
A wide angle for landscapes (under 24 mm).
A tele if you want to shoot birds or some action (200 mm +).
A macro if you like to shoot flowers, textures and any kind of details.
A zoom 24-70 / 24-105 / 35-150 mm good for multi use.

The trip can be done the whole year, during the months of July to September asa average the moisture and rain change this dry land to a greener one.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO BRING?
Trekking shoes are recommended.
In summer (jan-mar) temperature is a bit hot and humid: fresh clothes, a hat, water and sunscreen.
During the winter season (Jul-Oct), long sleeves and a wind vest for temperatures of 12-16C. Usually, it doesn´t rain too much (except in Aug-Sep) but bringing an extra coat for rain or cold may be helpful. If rains maybe the ground will be muddy and a bit slippery.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This is a photo trip in natural areas, we will hike in some moments climbing up a bit. In case you are not able to walk too much please tell us to modify the original plan.

Booking procedure:
After pre-booking by the web form, or contact us by WhatsApp, chat or email, please send a list with names, passport numbers, tour date, meeting point and any request you think could be important, such as the kind of things you want to photograph, personal style, personal website, mobility issues, etc.
Remember we work only with small groups and private services.
Important:
Save the date with 90 USD. This advanced payment is not refundable if no show or by any cancellation reason and the remaining balance will be due before or at the time of the scheduled tour.
At crowded places, for personal safety reasons is recommended to have a good backpack and never leave your stuff apart from you.
We allow any kind of camera.
The use of sport or very comfortable shoes is fully recommended.
Not included meals, drinks, personal expenses, travel/accident insurance, or lodging, unless we agreed to include them.
Additionals:
Trips outside Lima City include transportation. For trips in the city fully private transportation support is available under request and extra cost.
Other timing or arrangements for mobility handicaps or an assistant under request and extra cost.
Photography lessons and special requests available (ask).
Conditions:
1. For better chances to find an open date, requests and bookings must be done at least 72 hours before the tour date.
2. If cancellation occurs is considered as No Show and booking advanced payment is not subject to refund.
