BIRDING DAY
In this trip we will try to follow some different ecosystem spots around the city.
Starting early at the Miraflores park, to try to capture some little birds of the city of Lima. Then moving to Pucusana, a renowned fishing bay south of Lima. We’ll set out on a boat ride across its waters, where you can capture images of sea birds, and —if fortune smiles— the Humboldt penguins.
After then we will drive to Pachacamac valley, a different natural and open spot.
Back to Lima we will go to the Villa Wetlands area to find some coastal and wetland birds.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY
06:00 We´ll drive to Miraflores Bicentenario Park. In these terraces we will find some birds like the amazillia Hummingbirs, vermilion flycatcher, saffron finch, longtail mockingbird, scrub blackbird, house wren, blue grey tanager, tropical kingbird, blueblack grassquit, rufous-collared sparrow.
07:30 We´ll move to the south to Pucusana Bay.
09:30 Pucusana boat ride in the bay, here is the places of inca terns, pelicans, oystercatchers, gulls, ruddy turnstones, cormorans, penguins, etc.
11:00 We´ll move to Pachacamac town.
12:00 On the way a break for lunch, depending the hour, in Pachacamac or Punta Hermosa.
13:30 A short walk in the Pachacamac Valley, a second chance to find similar birds but in an open space, different than the main city, before continuing our trip back to the city.
15:30 On the way back a stop at Villa Wetlands and beach for a shooting of the many-colored rush tyrant, herons, peruvian thick-knee, plovers, sandpipers, teals, etc.
17:30 Return to Lima.
18:30 End of the trip.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO BRING?
Trekking shoes are recommended.
Basically in summer (Jan-Apr) you must use sunscreen and fresh clothes. Lima temperatures are in average 24-32C.
During winter (Jul-Oct) long sleeves and a wind vest for temperatures of 12-16C, usually, it doesn´t rain too much (except in Aug-Sep) but bringing an extra coat for rain or cold may be helpful.

After pre-booking by the web form, or contact us by WhatsApp, chat or email, please send a list with names, passport numbers, tour date, meeting point and any request you think could be important, such as the kind of things you want to photograph, personal style, personal website, mobility issues, etc.
Remember we work only with small groups and private services.
Important:
Save the date with 50% of the price. This advanced payment is not refundable if no show or by any cancellation reason and the remaining balance will be due before or at the time of the scheduled tour.
At crowded places, for personal safety reasons is recommended to have a good backpack and never leave your stuff apart from you.
We allow any kind of camera.
The use of sport or very comfortable shoes is fully recommended.
We do not include main meals, drinks, personal expenses, also you should hire a travel insurance. Lodging is included on specified tours.
Additionals:
Trips outside Lima City include transportation.
Other timing on schedule or special arrangements for mobility handicaps under request and possibly extra cost.
Photography lessons and special requests available (ask).
Conditions:
1. For better chances to find an open date, requests and bookings must be done at least 72 hours before the tour date, better with a week in advance.
2. If cancellation occurs is considered as No Show and booking advanced payment is not subject to refund.
